What is domestic abuse?
The UK government’s definition of domestic violence is ‘any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are, or have been, intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality. The abuse can encompass, but is not limited to psychological, physical, sexual, financial, emotional.’
Domestic abuse can take different forms, including:
physical abuse
sexual abuse
financial abuse
coercive and controlling behaviour, and gaslighting/emotional abuse
digital/online abuse
‘honour’-based abuse
forced marriage
female genital mutilation (FGM).

Supporting a victim
One of the most important roles you have in supporting a victim of abuse is helping them to stay safe, and to help them recognise when a situation may not be safe for them. A victim of abuse may have been living with extreme psychological and emotional abuse, as well as physical violence (including sexual violence). Domestic abuse is about control and if an abuser suspects they are losing control over their victim(s) they can become unpredictable and incredibly violent. We also offer all victims of abuse free transport to a safe place to a family members home or to a womens refuge please dont suffer alone if you feel you need to get away for the safety of your self or your children we can help we will provide a taxi for you and your children to the safe place of your choosing all our taxi drivers are registered for this service and fully vetted we also escort the taxi with our security response vehicles to ensure the safety off all during the trip
